Victoria Mutual Building Society’s (VMBS) Canadian Representative office will host TALK TIME 2, The VMBS ‘Road Show’, which was created to deliver information to Jamaicans and friends of Jamaica who wish to build properties, invest or save in Jamaica.

TALK TIME 2 will be held at the Jamaican Canadian Association’s centre, 995 Arrow Road on Thursday, October 24 from 6:00-9:30 p.m.

“VMBS continues to offer first line services to our members and potential members as we share information from our offices at 3117A Dufferin Street in Toronto,” says Chief Representative Officer Denise Sinclair. “We are a home away from home for our members who continue to save and do business in Jamaica. We are delighted to host the second annual TALK TIME 2 and have invited partners and developers from Jamaica to join us in sharing information on the bandwidth of opportunities that exist for Jamaicans in the Diaspora.”

Partners and developers in this “get away to Jamaica” TALK TIME 2 road show include Victoria Mutual Property Services, legal advice from Nunes, Scholefield Dleon & Co, Richmond St Ann, property builders Gore Developments, West Indies Home Contractors and Green Meikle and Smith Chartered Accountants.

Partners and developers will host information stations in the Road Show laid out in the JCA Auditorium. Jamaica Tourist Board and JAMPRO will also be on location at the JCA at Talk Time 2. Guests will have an opportunity to review purchase opportunities and someone will win a trip to Jamaica to view their dream home.

Registrants may schedule appointments, when they register, to meet with developers from 5-6 p.m., or they can drop in at the JCA. TALK TIME 2 kicks off at 6 p.m. with a warm and welcoming Jamaican Soup and Hors D’ oeuvres, then greetings from Consul General Seth George Ramocan. This will be followed by informative presentations from VMBS and the developers. A question and answer session will wrap up part two of TALK TIME 2.

Guests will then have the opportunity to ‘walk about’ and gather further information from Trade Floor Stations hosted by TALK TIME 2 Developers. The evening will close with a walk good light dinner of jerk chicken and rice and peas presented in Martini glasses, assorted Tropical Fruits and delicious desserts.

Registration is limited. Call VMBS Canadian Representative Office at 416.652.8652 to reserve your spot. The first 20 persons to RSVP will win a prize, and a lucky guest at TALK TIME 2 will win a trip to Jamaica, courtesy of VMBS.
