The Mississauga City Council has declared a by-election to fill the Ward 4 Council vacancy.
After considering a report prepared by City staff last week, Council passed a by-law to call the by-election. The Ward 4 seat was declared vacant after former councillor Frank Dale was appointed Peel Regional Chair on December 4, 2014. Dale was required to resign the Ward 4 seat to accept the appointment for Peel Region.
