Trinidad and Tobago was well represented at the 15th Annual Travel and Vacation Show last weekend in Ottawa.
Representatives from T&T’s High Commission in Ottawa, the country’s tourism development company and the T&T-based Caribbean Airlines hosted a booth at the show which was held at the Aberdeen Pavilion in Lansdowne Park in the nation’s capital.
The Travel and Vacation Show is organized to afford tourism boards, airlines, hotels, resorts and tour guides from around the world and throughout Canada to display exhibits and promote their respective countries as attractive holiday destinations.
The T&T participation was in keeping with the country’s tourism initiative.
The Trinidad and Tobago booth was one of 115 which were visited by over 16,000 people during the weekend.
Michelle Joseph and Olisa Adger of the Tourism Development Company Ltd., Elvin Edwards of the T&T High Commission and Nazie Mohammed of Caribbean Airlines welcomed visitors to the booth and encouraged them to visit the beautiful twin-island republic.
