Many thanks to Share for reminding us that learning is a community affair.
I and many sistahs and bruthas are grateful that you provided us such vital background information on the appointment of Thando Hyman-Annan as principal of Toronto’s planned Afrikan-centred school.
Thando is indeed the brilliant daughter our village raised up to defeat adversity, and she does the ancestors proud.
Like Share, we now want the world to know that we will continue the tradition of Afrikan-centred excellence that produced such uncommon competence and commitment in the person of our younger sistah, Thando.
Our mothers thank you, our fathers thank you, our village thanks you!
Congrats to Thando and a community that cares! Ashay!
