Prior to the funeral service on Saturday, supporters and friends of Dudley Laws are asked to make one last march with him from the funeral home at Eglinton Avenue and Dufferin Street starting at 7:30 a.m. through the Eglinton/Oakwood area to Marlee Avenue following the hearse after which they will drive up Allan Road to Revivaltime Tabernacle for the service.

There will be two receptions following the funeral, one starting at 3 pm at Faith Open Door Ministries, 920 Caledonia Road Unit #4 south of Lawrence, which will go until midnight and the other at the Rozz – 200 Advance Blvd (Brampton) from 4:00-8:30 p.m.
Revivaltime’s founding pastor Bishop Dr. Audley James promised that part of his message will reflect Laws’ passion for young people.
“I have only 10 minutes, but I will speak to the youth,” said Dr. James who said he visited Laws in hospital. “I prayed with him and he made his peace with God.”
Dr. James expects close to 3,000 mourners to attend the funeral.
“We had about 2,400 for Miss Lou in 2006 and that’s our largest funeral so far,” he added. “It looks like the attendance for Dudley’s funeral could surpass that, but we are prepared.”
Toronto lawyer, Charles Roach, will deliver the eulogy while several will pay tribute, including former Toronto Police Service deputy chief Keith Forde and former provincial government minister Mary Anne Chambers.
