Josh Colle seeking to replace Howard Moscoe

With long-time councillor, Howard Moscoe, finally deciding to do the right thing and quit politics, Josh Colle has a good shot at replacing him as the new Eglinton-Lawrence (Ward 15) councillor.

Actually Colle whose father, Mike Colle, is the Liberal MPP for the area, a former cabinet minister and a great friend of our community, has been endorsed by Moscoe.

An executive at an infrastructure and energy firm, the younger Colle is banking on his business experience in the financial and infrastructure industries. He has also served as a Catholic school board trustee.

Colle supports the $4.6 billion LRT project that would replace bus service along the busy Eglinton Ave. W. (long overdue) with mostly underground light rail and is advocating to make City Hall more family friendly.

A $10 Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) family pass and a full-time TTC chair are high on his agenda.

Colle, a 37-year-old father of three, is a lifelong Vaughan/Winona resident and active member of his community. He’s the director of the Five Points Residents Association and the EcoPark Environmental non-profit organization and a children’s soccer and hockey coach.

“Josh is a dedicated community advocate and he would be an excellent representative of our community,” said St. Paul’s MPP Dr. Eric Hoskins.
